FTPExpress.gif (4353 bytes)

Below are some screen shots from version 3 of FTP Express. Each screen shot has an explanation that highlights a feature of FTP Express. We can't show you all of its features so when you're done with this page why not try it out?

      MicrosoftScreen.gif (23002 bytes)

In this screen shot we're dragging files from Microsoft's site (the upper window) to our local hard drive (the lower window). Two files, ls-LR.Z and LS-LR.ZIP are being dragged to the folder named Temp. When the files are dropped, the transfer starts. Files can be uploaded in exactly the same manner.

SystemExplorer.gif (16534 bytes)

The System Explorer windows lets you perform most file operations from within FTP Express.

TransferScreen.gif (5463 bytes)

This window shows the transfer status. The upper part of the window shows  progress on the current file, ls-LR.Z, it's size and the estimated time left for this file.

The lower part of the window shows overall progress, total size, number of files and total estimated time left.

You can have multiple transfers happening at the same time. Each one is independent.

DownloadQueue.gif (17559 bytes)

Here we're gathering a list of files to download later on. In the Download Queue are two downloads, one from Microsoft and one from Netscape. FTP Express will connect at the time you specify and download these files automatically. If the download is interrupted, FTP Express will attempt to reconnect and try again. Only files not currently downloaded will be transferred on subsequent attempts. And if the FTP server supports resuming, FTP Express will transfer only the remaining part of the file.
